Musical Theatre Class (Ages 11-18)
A fun and focused class for older students who want to grow in singing, acting, and movement. Through ensemble work and performance-based training, students will build confidence, strengthen stage skills, and learn how to bring musical theatre to life.
Semester 1 focus: Production Group Numbers
Students will begin with ensemble-based work as they rehearse and perform 1-2 staged group numbers, building teamwork, stage presence, and performance energy.
Semester 2 focus: Solos, Duets, & Trios
Students will focus on individual performance skills through solo and duet/trio work, with an emphasis on vocal confidence, character connection, and storytelling.
Performance: This class will perform in winter and spring!

Drama Club (Ages 11-18)
Drama Club is a performance-based acting class for older students looking to build confidence and strengthen their stage skills in a supportive setting. Students explore scene work, improvisation, character development, and ensemble performance while developing strong rehearsal habits.
Semester 1 focus: Scenes and Monologues
Focus on character exploration, scripted scenes, and rehearsal techniques.
Semester 2 focus: Puppetry
Creating characters and preparing a scene or short play with puppets while learning voice control, movement, and storytelling.
This class supports students who are new to theatre as well as those looking to continue developing their performance skills.
Performance: This class will perform in winter and spring!

Meets: Fridays @ 4:30-5:30 pm
Tutition: $82 per month
**Drama and Musical Theatre Students: Please come dressed ready to move. Ensure clothing fits properly to eliminate wardrobe malfunctions while participating in scene work and acting exercises.
Please wear or bring a pair of sneakers to change into. No crocs or snow boots.

Theatre Production Class (Ages 8-18)
Production Class is an audition-based theatre experience for students ready to take their performance skills to the next level. Students strengthen acting technique, stage presence, character development, singing, movement, ensemble skills, and rehearsal technique while working toward staged productions.
More than just an opportunity to be in a show, this class helps students build confidence, discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and the skills needed to become stronger, more thoughtful performers.
FALL PRODUCTION | SEPTEMBER–DECEMBER
Students will work together to prepare a staged Winter Production, with opportunities to act, sing, move, develop characters, and experience the full rehearsal process.
Location: APA Oak Creek
Rehearsals: Fridays | 6:30–8:30 PM
Tuition: $82/month
Winter Performance: Friday, December 4, 2026
AUDITION & ENROLLMENT
Production Class is audition-based. Auditions help our instructors learn more about each student’s experience, strengths, and areas for growth while determining appropriate roles within the production.
All students accepted into Production Class will participate in the production and receive a role.
Students joining our Spring Production will audition in December. Current Fall Production students will have the first opportunity to continue into the spring session.
SPRING PRODUCTION | JANUARY–MAY
Beginning in January, Production Class expands to include additional weekly rehearsal time as students prepare for our larger Spring Production.
Rehearsals:
Fridays | 6:30–8:30 PM
AND Sundays | 12:00–3:00 PM
Tuition: $149/month beginning in January
Spring Performance Weekend: Weekend of May 22, 2027, with multiple performances planned
Additional audition and production details will be announced later this fall.
MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO PERFORM & GROW
Optional theatre workshops and special opportunities may also be offered throughout the year, giving students additional chances to explore areas such as audition preparation, character development, choreography, vocals, improv, and other performance skills.

6-Week Theatre Classes for Young Performers
Love to act, sing, create characters, or simply be in the spotlight? Our 6-week theatre sessions give young performers a fun, low-commitment way to explore theatre, build confidence, and make new friends! No previous theatre experience is required. Each 6-week session features a new theme, so students can join one session or come back throughout the year for something new!
Drama Jr (Ages: 6-11)
Perfect for young performers who love to act, create characters, and use their imagination! Through theatre games, improvisation, scene work, and storytelling, students will build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork while exploring each session’s theme.

For students who love to sing, act, and perform! Musical Theatre Jr combines acting, music, and choreography as students explore songs, scenes, and characters inspired by each session’s theme. Students will build performance skills, confidence, and stage presence while having fun with friends!

Explore a New Theme Every 6 Weeks!
Drama Jr and Musical Theatre Jr explore the same theme each session, with activities tailored to each class.
Session I: Sept. 14-Oct. 19
Set Sail with Moana & Maui – Animated Adventures: Set sail on an imaginative adventure inspired by Moana and Maui! Young performers will explore acting, movement, characters, and storytelling as they bring a colorful island adventure to life. Perfect for kids who love to pretend, perform, and use their imaginations.
Session II: Oct. 26-Dec 7
Spooky Season – The Nightmare Before Christmas: Enter a delightfully spooky world filled with curious characters, Halloween fun, and plenty of imagination! Inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas, young performers will explore acting, movement, character creation, and storytelling while bringing their own spooky-season adventure to the stage.
Session III: Jan. 4-Feb. 8
Defying Gravity – A Wickedly Fun Broadway Adventure: Step into a magical world inspired by Wicked! Young performers will explore larger-than-life characters, acting, movement, music, and stage presence while building confidence and discovering what it feels like to shine on stage.
Session IV: Feb. 15- March 29
Under the Sea with Ariel & SpongeBob: Dive into an underwater world filled with colorful characters, silly adventures, and lots of imagination! Inspired by Ariel and SpongeBob, young performers will explore acting, movement, character creation, and storytelling as they bring their own under-the-sea adventures to life.
Session V: April 5- May 10
Kid-Powered Cast – Annie & Newsies, Ready for the Stage: Get ready to take the stage! Inspired by Annie and Newsies, young performers will build confidence through acting, character work, movement, and performance skills while learning how to feel comfortable, prepared, and ready to shine in a show.

What Should Students Wear?
Drama and Musical Theatre students should come dressed in comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely during acting exercises, scene work, and choreography. Please wear or bring sneakers to change into. No Crocs or snow boots, please.

What to Expect From An APA Production AUDITION:
– In APA’s musical theatre programs all enrolled students will be cast in a role. We recommend signing up early, as slots fill up quickly.
What to Prepare for an audition:
- A 1-minute MEMORIZED cut of a song from a Broadway musical.
- All auditions must be sung to an instrumental track (no vocals). No accompanist will be provided.
- Please edit your track ahead of time to just play the portion of the song you need.

Pricing
- Annual Membership fee: $40 individual / $50 for families*
**Classes that do not last the whole School Year Session (Ex: Musicals, or Mini Sessions) do not pay a membership fee! - Tuition Costs: Listed tuition prices refer to the monthly fee, NOT by the number of classes in the month.
-The monthly fee will remain the same whether it is a long or short lesson month.
-You will stay enrolled each month throughout the session unless you notify our office otherwise.
-Tuition must be paid by automatic bank account debit or automatic credit card payment. Tuition will be debited on the fifteenth of every month to pre-pay for the upcoming month with your last payment on 5/15 (for the school year session). - Registration: Payment for the first month (and any applicable membership fees) are due at the time of registration to hold the class spot.
- Our School Year Schedule stays consistent throughout the 10 month school year (September-June), but you are only committed on a month-to-month basis. Classes meet once a week. Almost all of our students stay the entire year so they are able to participate in both of our exciting performances in December and June! To withdraw from any classes a parent or guardian must complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by the front desk by the 14th of the previous month to discontinue any classes or private lessons. If you do NOT notify us by the 14th of the previous month, tuition will be charged on the 15th and cannot be refunded. All withdrawals require a 2-week notice.

- Click on the link next to the class you would like to register your first child for. A secure registration form will open.
- Complete the form and submit with your credit card information. Our office staff will review your registration and make any necessary adjustments to your registration fee or tuition fee.
- Once all discounts are applied, your credit card will be charged and you will receive notification of your payment within 1-3 business days.
- First month’s payment is required to complete the registration along with our yearly membership fee. Tuition will be prorated if you start after the 1st of the month.
APA reserves the right to change, combine, or cancel classes based on enrollment. We will contact you if this situation should arise and work with you to find another class for your child.

- Registration is open for students to participate in our Winter Show until October 15th. Registration will open again December 1st-February 15th for students to perform in our Spring Shows.

- Multiple classes a week: 2nd class receives $10 off, 3rd class and any additional class receives $15 off.
- Sibling Discount: $5 off the less expensive class.
