Questions for the Front Desk: If you ever have any questions for our front desk staff, Miss Trisha can answer questions after drop-off at 9am and before pick up at 11:15.
Bathroom Reminders: Please make sure to be to have your child use the bathroom before they enter class in the morning. We have many students using the bathroom with in the first 5-10 minutes of class, which can disturb the routine of our morning and can trigger other friends wanting to use the bathroom as well.
Fire Department In-House Field Trip: Tuesday, October 8th at 9:30am. If your child does not have regular preschool that day , they are more than welcome to attend, however a parent or guardian needs to stay with them during the duration of the Fire Department’s presentation. After the Fire Department is done (approximately 45 minutes) those who usually have school that day stay and non-Tuesday students will be dismissed.
Preschool Fall Festival Costume Event: Parents are invited to attend our Fall Festival on Tuesday, October 29th & Wednesday, October 30th at 11am in Studio B2 (next to preschool room). Preschool students only perform at the Fall Festival on their scheduled school days. Students are welcome to wear costumes to school for the performance. Please be sure that students wear something that allows them to still use the bathroom independently. Please do not have your student wear a scary costume. Also, we do not want students bringing any accessories that need to be held in their hands (swords, fairy wands etc.) as they will be using their hands during our songs; or wear any masks.
APA will hand out a pre-packaged treat for each child to take home. If you do not want your child to receive a treat, please let us know!
2019 PHOTO DATE Wednesday NOVEMBER 13th @ 9am: This is the only Preschool picture date scheduled. Even if you do not attend on Wednesdays, please come to school that morning for your photo if you would like to have one taken. Individual photos will be taken and they also use this photo for a class composite. If you are not interested in ordering photos, you would still have to get a photo taken to be included in the class group composite. More information will be handed out closer to the date of the photos.
Absences: If your child will be absent, please notify our front desk and teachers if you are aware of the date. If your child is sick and cannot attend school, please call us the morning of so we can notify our teachers. If a student does not arrive by 9:15a.m., our front desk will call to see if your child is coming that day. We do not refund you if your child misses a school day. We allow students to make up any missed days if there is space available on a different day. There is a maximum of 2 times per semester. If your child attends all 4 days of our preschool, they are only allowed to make-up by attending another group class that APA offers. Please remember that make-up classes are optional and APA offers this as a courtesy. We need a one week notice to schedule a make-up.

We place our orders on or around the 15th of every month. Encouraging reading is one of the most important things we can do to help your child succeed. It can be tough finding the right books to keep them interested, which is why we are so excited that our class will be participating in Scholastic Reading Club this school year! All October orders must be placed online by Monday October 14th . Orders will be processed on the 15th.
Kringle Fundraiser: Order form was due Tuesday, October 1st. You must pick up from the location where you turned in your order form. OC Pickup is Friday, October 18th 3:00 – 6:00pm. Anyone that does not show up between the pickup times will be charged $10 to their account on file. If you do not pick up your food that night, your frozen food will not be good as we do not have a freezer on the premises. Profits from the fundraiser will be in your individual account before October 15th.
Referral Program: Share us with a friend. When a new family registers and mentions your name, you will EACH receive a $50 tuition credit. (Credit given after 2 months enrolled and there is no limit to the number of families referred!)

We will update you monthly with our upcoming field trips. Some field trips take place on-site at the preschool, while others are held off-site. Parents are responsible for transportation of their children to off-site field trips. If you would like your child to participate in a field trip, but do not have transportation available, please see the front desk and we can help arrange carpooling with another parent. We will notify you of specific times, cost and descriptions of field trips in our Monthly Newsletters.
