Our biggest priority is that your child is finding value and learning in class, but having fun at the same time! Being a part of APA, we want your child to experience MORE than just great arts education. We don’t just teach kids to be great at the arts, we teach the arts to make great kids! Happy October!


Referral Program:  Share us with a friend!  When a new family registers and mentions your name, you EACH will receive a $50 tuition voucher. The voucher will be mailed out after 2 months of paid enrollment and there is no limit to the number of families you can refer!


License Plate Winner: Congrats to license plate 230 NPN.  One of our staff members spotted your APA window sticker while driving!  Please contact the front desk so we know who you are and you will receive a $50 tuition credit.  To participate, grab a FREE APA window sticker at the desk!   


Missing Shoes or Belongings?:  Each location has a Lost & Found bin in their front lobby.  If you are missing any attire, water bottles or shoes, please check the bin.


Fall Ball Event for Students Ages 3-7:  Saturday, October 10th @ 12:30pm (Both Locations). Come join in our fun, safe and social-distanced event.  Students can dress up in their finest Prince & Princess attire! Students will learn a dance, make a craft and play Fall themed games.  Please visit to register or learn more about this event. 

Calling ALL Girl Scouts:  Girl Scout Troops can earn their dance badge at APA!!!

APA Logo Wear for Sale:  You can place orders from our online store from the 1st through the 10th of each month.  We do not have these items available at the studio. All orders will take 3-4 weeks after the store closing date and will be shipped for free to APA.  Please include your student’s name when ordering.  We will notify you when your items are available for pick-up.  Click here to order!

Winter Virtual MUSIC Recital: Students will start to select their music selections for our optional Winter Recital.   If you have specific music you would like to perform, please notify your teacher.   Our Winter Music Recital will be held virtually on Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th. We will email out more details closer to the show.



Prop Kits for Dancers in Grades 1st and Younger:  Starting in October, we will start introducing our APA Prop Kits for our younger classes.  These kits are owned by APA however each student will get to use their same kit each week.  Each student will have their own items stored in their individual bag for sanitary purposes.

Optional Poms for Purchase:  We had a few parents inquire about purchasing Poms for their student to use at APA and at home since we are not using our APA poms.  We are ordering some samples and will send out options in mid-October if anyone wants to purchase.


Dance Showcase Our Dance Showcase is set for Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th.  Due to Covid – we will not release any details until November so we can monitor what restrictions will be set at the South Milwaukee PAC.  Regardless, we will offer some sort of performance option in the Winter if we can comply with the state guidelines.  This might not be an hour-long show with 800 seats sold, but we will still make this a special experience for your child.

If your student is not available to perform in either our Winter or Spring Showcase and will NOT need a costume, they can still participate in our classes.

Dance Costumes:  Costumes were automatically charged to your account on file on September 25th if you were registered prior to this date, unless you notified us otherwise.  The deadline to purchase costumes for our Winter Showcase will be Thursday, October 15th.  Costumes are also based upon availability so if you wait too long to purchase, the item might not be available if it is not in stock.
