Intro to Piano (Ages 6-10)
Intro to Piano follows a semester-based curriculum designed to help students develop confidence at the keyboard through progressive instruction. Students will learn to read music, understand the layout of the keyboard, and play recognizable songs while building toward an end-of-semester concert performance. Students who continue into the next semester will continue advancing their skills with new material and increasingly challenging music rather than repeating the same curriculum.
Tuition: $62 per month. Your first payment of $77 includes a one-time $15 supply fee. All remaining monthly tuition payments are $62, with your final payment due May 15, unless you withdraw according to our withdrawal policy.
Performance: Enrolled students can perform in our end-of-semester concerts in December and June. Because each semester builds progressively, we encourage students to remain enrolled through the performance for the best educational experience.

Throughout the year, students will gain team-building and leadership skills, while making fun social connections.

Pricing
- Annual Membership fee: $40 individual / $50 max for families*
- Tuition Costs: Listed tuition prices refer to the monthly fee. To avoid those “surprise” high-cost months (like months with five weeks), we use a flat-rate system. Instead of charging you a different amount every single month based on the calendar, we take the total cost of all lessons for the entire school year and divide that total into 10 equal payments.
-The monthly fee will remain the same whether it is a long or short lesson month.
-You will stay enrolled each month throughout the session unless you notify our office otherwise.
-Tuition must be paid by automatic bank account debit or automatic credit card payment. Tuition will be debited on the fifteenth of every month to pre-pay for the upcoming month with your last payment on 5/15 (for the school year session). - Registration: Payment for the first month (and any applicable membership fees) are due at the time of registration to hold the class spot.
- Our School Year Schedule stays consistent throughout the 10 month school year (September-June), but you are only committed on a month-to-month basis. Classes meet once a week. Almost all of our students stay the entire year so they are able to participate in both of our exciting performances in December and June! To withdraw from any classes a parent or guardian must complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by the front desk by the 14th of the previous month to discontinue any classes or private lessons. If you do NOT notify us by the 14th of the previous month, tuition will be charged on the 15th and cannot be refunded. All withdrawals require a 2-week notice.

Additional Music Info
- Instruments:
Students must bring their own instrument to each lesson, except for piano and voice students who may use the studio instruments. - Guitar & Violin Rentals:
Teachers recommend renting or purchasing a guitar, with youth sizes available for younger students.
For violin, teachers recommend renting rather than buying for younger children, since they quickly outgrow sizes and rentals can be exchanged as the student grows. - Books:
Students must bring their lesson books each week. Books can be purchased through APA. - Practice Expectations:
Practice recommendations vary by teacher. Most encourage daily practice and will share specific goals for each student. Parent Involvement:
Parents of students under age 6 are encouraged to attend lessons, as younger learners often benefit from additional support. Your child’s teacher will let you know whether they prefer parents to attend every lesson.Consistent parent involvement—both in lessons and at-home practice—is a key part of student success. Teachers will provide specific guidance on how to practice effectively, and parents are encouraged to help monitor practice at home, especially for younger students. Here are some general practice tips!
