APA's Winter Youth Mini Musical
Every Leap Day, the Days of the Week have a day off and celebrate with a huge party at the House of Father Time. However, this Leap Day, nothing goes as planned. The Days feel overworked, demanding an 8th day be added to the week. Tuesday and Friday’s friendship is not what it used to be. And Mother Nature makes a surprising appearance which puts everyone on edge!
This mini production is for performers ages 6-10!
The performances will take place January 25th, 2025! This ticketed event will be held at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center.

For Students Age: 6-10 years old
Cost:
Regular Pricing: 4 Payments of $80 (includes props/costume/script fees)
Payment Schedule:
Leap Day is a production-based class and follows our standard class payment schedule of monthly billing on 15th of the month. This breaks down to:
Payment 1: $80 charged at registration
Payment 2: $80 charged on October 15th
Payment 3: $80 charged on November 15th
Payment 4: $80 charged on December 15th
Fundraising for full or partial tuition reimbursement is available. More information will be sent after casting is complete.
Auditions: Have ended
Class Rehearsal Schedule: October 2nd-January 17th
At APA Oak Creek
Wednesdays: 4:30- 5:30 pm
Fridays: 6:30-7:30 pm
*Sundays: 1 per month Oct 13, Nov 10, Jan 5th, 12th IF needed @ 1-4 pm
Other Dates:
November 28th, December 25th & 27th, January 1st & 3rd – NO CLASS for Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.
January 21st (tentative) – unloading at SMPAC – will ask for volunteers to help transport props, and reassemble set pieces.
January 22 – calltime 4 pm, 5-8 pm Tech Rehearsal @ SMPAC
January 23 – calltime 4 pm, 5-8 pm Tech Rehearsal @ SMPAC
Saturday, January 25th– Performances at 10:00 am & 12:30 pm

Once you have registered, and signed up for auditions at the buttons above, you should review the information below!
What to Prepare:
- A 1-minute MEMORIZED cut of a song from a Broadway musical.
- All auditions must be sung to an instrumental track (no vocals). No accompanist will be provided.
- Please edit your track ahead of time to just play the portion of the song you need.
- Please email the edited track to [email protected]
*If you cannot make it, please send a video of your student performing their 1 minute song, to [email protected] by the audition date.
