High School Graduation & Dance Recital Conflicts

If any dancers are graduating this year, or if your dancer has a sibling graduating on June 20th (the same date as our recital), please email us as soon as possible with the time of the graduation ceremony. The deadline to submit this is February 7th. This information will help us do our best to accommodate your family when assigning showtimes.

Please note that while we will make every effort to consider graduation conflicts,
we cannot guarantee accommodations due to the number of dancers potentially affected. Additionally, venue availability is extremely limited, so we are unable to change recital dates. However, we will do our best to schedule performances in a way that works around graduation times whenever possible.

Thank you for your understanding and for providing this information promptly.

NEW Private Lesson Makeup Policy Beginning Summer 2026

As shared in our January newsletter and the January 15th This Month in Music email, we’re excited to introduce a new, more consistent makeup lesson option for student absences.

What’s changing? When a student is absent, in-person makeup lessons will be replaced with a personalized video lesson created by your child’s teacher.

Why Families Love This Change

  • Fair for everyone: Every student receives meaningful instruction.
  • No scheduling stress: No waiting for makeup openings.
  • Highly personalized: Videos are tailored to your child’s progress.

What to Expect

  • A short, friendly video from your child’s teacher
  • Review of the previous assignment
  • A new exercise or focus skill
  • Clear, step-by-step practice guidance

Important Note:
If a teacher is absent (not the student), our current policy remains the same:

  • A substitute teacher will be provided if available, or
  • An in-person makeup lesson will be scheduled.

Click HERE to view a side-by-side comparison of the Old vs. NEW Policy (starting Summer 2026).
We’re confident this update will make lessons simpler, fairer, and more valuable for all families.
