Summer Theatre Classes
Explore creativity, performance, and storytelling this summer! Our theatre programs are designed to build confidence, collaboration, and stage skills in a fun and supportive environment. Each class runs in a 4-week session, with select programs offering Session 1 and Session 2 experiences for continued growth. Stagecraft & Production Studio
Ages: 11–18
Class Length: 60 minutes
Session Length: 4 weeks – Session I Only: June 29–July 25
Step behind the scenes and discover what brings a production to life! In this hands-on class, students explore the technical and creative elements of theatre beyond acting. Topics include blocking, quick changes, prop organization, stage makeup, and script analysis from a production perspective.
Each week focuses on a different aspect of production:
Week 1: Blocking & Staging Mechanics
Week 2: Quick Changes & Backstage Flow
Week 3: Stage Makeup & Visual Storytelling
Week 4: Script Analysis from a Director’s Lens
Perfect for performers looking to deepen their understanding of how shows are built from the ground up.
Summer Drama Club
Ages: 11–18
Class Length: 60 minutes
Session Length: 4 weeks per session
A performance-based acting class designed to build confidence and strengthen stage skills. Students explore scene work, improvisation, character development, and ensemble performance while developing strong rehearsal habits.
Session 1: Stage & Scene Studio
Focus on character exploration, scripted scenes, and rehearsal techniques, ending with an informal in-class sharing.
Session 2: Improv & Performance Lab
Focus on structured improvisation, quick thinking, and collaborative storytelling in a high-energy environment.
Great for both beginners and experienced performers looking to grow their skills.
Adventure Awaits: Creative Drama Passport Series
Ages: 6–10
Class Length: 45 minutes
Session Length: 4 weeks per session
Young performers are introduced to the foundations of theatre through games, storytelling, and beginner scene work. Students build confidence while learning stage directions, expressive movement, clear speaking, and teamwork.
Families are invited to a short in-class sharing during Week 4.
Session 1: Storybook Adventure Club (Storybook Kingdom)
Students explore fairy tale-inspired characters while learning foundational acting skills in a playful, imaginative setting.
Session 2: Superhero Training Academy (Hero Headquarters)
Students create original superhero characters while developing voice, movement, and teamwork skills.
Adventure Awaits: Musical Theatre Passport Series
Ages: 6–10
Class Length: 45 minutes
Session Length: 4 weeks per session
This class introduces students to singing and movement in a structured rehearsal setting. Using age-appropriate music, students build vocal confidence, rhythm, coordination, and stage presence while learning how music helps tell a story.
Families are invited to a short in-class sharing during Week 4.
Session 1: All-Star Adventurers (Storybook Kingdom)
Students learn a musical theatre number inspired by magical worlds and adventurous storytelling while building vocal and performance skills.
Session 2: Power Up Performance Lab (Hero Headquarters)
Students learn a high-energy musical theatre number inspired by heroic stories while developing beginning vocal technique and choreography skills.
Dress Code (All Summer Drama Classes)
Students should come dressed ready to move. Clothing should fit properly to allow for sitting, stretching, and movement. Clean athletic shoes are required.
For safety reasons, Crocs, sandals, heavy boots, and snow boots are not permitted.
