Spend an afternoon painting a canvas print, take a walk on the wild side while enjoying a tasty brunch, or stop and smell the roses! Whichever destination you choose, Mom will never forget the time she spent with her favorite people.
Mother’s Day Brunch @ The Racine Zoo
If one of your family’s favorite activities is heading to the zoo, then this Mother’s Day brunch is the perfect event! Enjoy a delicious spread from The Ivanhoe, see a special giraffe encounter, create a craft for Mom and receive a commemorative photo! After the event, spend the day enjoying all the amazing animals! Be sure to take time strolling along Lake Michigan and enjoy the beautiful views.
Mommy and Me Painting Sessions
Head over to the Farmhouse Paint & Sip for what is sure to be a fun event for both Mom and the kiddos! Spend the day getting creative while enjoying quality time together. The Farmhouse has several Mommy & Me painting sessions happening the entire WEEK before Mother’s Day. Choose from a variety of paintings such as Mommy & Me panda bears, flamingos, unicorns, and more! Events are both In-person and virtual.
Mother’s Day at the Gardens
If you haven’t been to this beautiful garden yet, you will definitely want to choose this activity for Mother’s Day! Bookworm Gardens, located in Sheboygan, is a “playful” botanical garden that is centered around children’s literature. Take a ride on the Magic School Bus, tour the Three Little Pigs houses, dig for Dinosaurs or spend time down on the farm! Mom’s get FREE admission on May 8th and 9th PLUS they receive a beautiful potted plant while supplies last.
Mother’s Day Tea Party- Social on Six 
There is nothing like a formal Tea Party! Taking the afternoon to dress up, drink from fancy china cups, and indulge in tea cakes and good conversation. Social on Six, located in Racine, is hosting a formal tea party on Sunday, May 9th from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Spend time with Mom over a plate of tasty treats, proper finger sandwiches, and delicious tea. Dress to impress and enjoy an afternoon of luxury with your favorite little darling.
Movies with Mom! 
Let’s go to the movies! After a year of being unable to attend a movie on the silver screen, taking Mom to the movies will feel like more than just an afternoon treat, but an event! The iconic Avalon Theater, located in Milwaukee, is showing the classic musical Mamma Mia Mother’s Day Brunch on Saturday, May 8th. Enjoy a delicious menu of Butterscotch French Toast, Fresh Fruit Salad, and Passion Fruit Mimosas for Mom! Tickets for the show are $6 and brunch items are sold separately.
We want to wish all the Mother, Grandmothers, and Great Grandmothers a very Happy Mothers Day! However you choose to spend the day, take time to appreciate Mom with a special day filled with gratitude and love!
