Supplies needed:

– Washable Markers
– Coffee Filters
– Construction Paper
– Spray Bottle

Directions:

First step is to make the suncatcher shamrock frame. Use green construction paper and trace a shamrock shape. Cut out the center shamrock and use the outline for the suncatcher frame.

Next, have your kiddo use washable markers to color their coffee filters. You will need one coffee filter for each suncatcher. Encourage your little leprechaun to use their creativity to fill in all the white space. The more they decorate it, the more colorful the suncatcher will be.

And of course you can always paint the rainbow!

Once they are decorated, spread the coffee filters out on paper towels to help with the mess during the next step.  Have your little leprechaun spray their design with water using their spray bottle. Watch the colors begin to swirl together and create a beautiful suncatcher!
