What a great start to the year! During the month of February, APA celebrates “Share the Love” month, AND registration for select GROUP classes will close on 2/15. Now is the time to add any additional classes or to have a friend register and get your referral tuition credit!
For part of our “Share the Love” month, we will also have notecards for students to fill out heartfelt messages for their teachers to keep. Our staff loves receiving these! Parents and students will also receive a small treat from our APA staff, details are below.

Valentine's Heart Cookies!
LAST CHANCE – Surprise your Student with a Heart Cookie during Valentine’s Week: A heart-shaped cookie will be delivered to your child in their class starting Monday, February 10th-Saturday, February 15th. Each cookie will be individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.

Audition Prep & Technique Classes!
Looking for extra dance training to prepare for an upcoming audition at APA or your school?
Mark your calendars! APA’s Pom auditions are on April 26, and Dance Company auditions are May 17–18. To help you prepare, we’re offering two 4-week audition prep sessions at our Oak Creek location on Wednesday evenings. Stay tuned for more details! Parent/Student Appreciation Week
February 17th-22nd: As part of our Share the Love Month celebration, stop in during this week to receive a small treat from our APA staff.
APA’s Spirit Week
Monday, March 3rd-Saturday, March 8th: Have your student join in the fun for our Get your Glow On Spirit Week! Students can dress up in glow/neon colors this whole week. Dress code items are not required but please make sure dancers still wear attire that they can easily move around in.

Dance Registration Cut-off!
Dance Registration Cut-off is February 15th (select classes): We will be closing our registration on February 15th for all group dance classes Grades 2nd and older. We will keep our registration open for classes Grades 1st and younger but please know that participating in Spring Showcase may not be possible based upon enrollment date/costume availability. If you would like to take advantage of our multi-class and/or sibling discounts, please see the front desk!
Spring Dance Showcase Info!
Spring Dance Showcase & Rehearsal Times – This information will be available by March. Rehearsals & pictures are set for Tuesday, June 10th through Thursday, June 12th @ APA’s Oak Creek location. Our Competitive Team Showcase (only competitive dancers) is scheduled for Friday, June 13th. Our recreational classes will perform on Saturday, June 14th. Our performances will be held at Oak Creek Performing Arts Center.
Showcase Costumes: We use the same costumes from our Winter Show for our Spring Show. If you are transferring classes and the new class does not use the same costume, you will need to purchase a costume for the new class.
NEW STUDENTS COSTUMES: Please click HERE for additional details on how to order and the deadlines.
Showcase Routines: Each class will be working on their new dance starting in mid-February. They will still be working on technique, across-the-floor combinations, jumps and turns. If your child is not participating in our Spring Show, they will still learn the dance, and will be strategically placed in formations so we do not have any gaps during the performance.

Referral Program:
Share us with a friend! When a new family registers and mentions your name, you will EACH receive a $50 tuition credit.
