As we head into Spring, APA is already thinking about Summer and Fall classes. We officially open Summer registration on April 5th. When we say don’t wait too long to register, we really mean it.  APA group classes will still be offered with limited capacity.  Take advantage of our $25 off Early Bird Pricing by registering by May 1st. Our Fall schedule will be available for registration starting on May 1st.

Spring Break for BOTH Locations:  APA will be closed Monday, March 29th – Sunday, April 4th Classes will resume on Monday, April 5th!

More Important Info for You To Know:   

2021 APA T-shirts:  ALL of our students will receive one FREE t-shirt in June! IF any parents or siblings would like to purchase a shirt please visit  All orders are due by April 15th. The t-shirts are $20 plus tax, add $2 for 2XL or 3XL. T-shirts are unisex so they run bigger.  NEW OPTION FOR 2021 – Parents can purchase this as a “Fan of T-shirt”. Since this shirt will be personalized on the backside the cost is $30.  The back of the shirt would say “Fan of (your student’s name)”. Parent t-shirts will be available for pick up the last week of classes in June at your class location.  Please watch your emails for this!

Kringle Fundraiser:  Everyone who participated in the Kringle Fundraiser will see their profit in their APA account before your 4/15 tuition payment.  This credit will automatically deduct off your 4/15 payment unless you tell us otherwise.  Pick-up for the fundraiser will be at the location that you dropped off your form.  Our Franklin pick-up will be on Thursday, April 15th, 3:00 PM-6:30PM and our Oak Creek pick-up will be on Friday, April 16th, 3:30 PM-6:30 PM.

Spring Mini Dance Sessions:   It’s not too late to dance with APA!  Register your child or share us with a friend to earn your referral credit!  APA is proud to announce our Unicorn Love and Dancin’ Descendants Mini Session!  Classes are starting in mid-April and are being offered for students ages 2 – 5th Grade. Anyone who registers for these classes gets a free pair of shoes and has the opportunity to perform at our APA Mini Spring Showcases! Check out for full details and to register.  Hurry, register by April 4th to receive $20 off for our Early Bird Pricing.

NEW Acro Mini-Session!  Grades K5- Age 8 Beginner:
  Miss Danielle will be offering a 4-week beginner Acro class on Saturdays from 9:00-9:50 am at our Oak Creek location.  This would start on Saturday, May 22nd through Saturday, June 12th.  The cost is $64 for 4 weeks. Our Acro class will teach gymnastics moves that complement the various dance styles and facilitate better movement. More and more dance routines are displaying gymnastics and we want to give your child that creative and competitive advantage. *Because this is a Mini-Session, multi-class/sibling discounts are NOT available.  Spots are limited!  Click HERE to register.  This class will not have a performance due to the short duration.

Summer Savings!  Register for our 6-week Summer Session by May 1st to receive our Early Bird Special pricing for $25 off any group dance or group music classes!  Register online between April 5th-May 1st.  

Summer Classes Monday, July 6th- Saturday, August 14th Schedules are available now click HERE!  Registration opens Monday, April 5th.  Our summer session is 6 weeks long and we will offer NEW group music classes/workshops, dance classes, and private music lessons.

Summer Dance:  ONLINE ONLY registrations will begin April 5th. Online registrations are our preferred method of registering so you can complete everything in full. Register early! There’s less chance of your class being full or canceled due to low enrollment.  In addition, our classes at APA will still be offered at a limited capacity at this time.  We need at least 5 students enrolled in each class. Over-the-phone and in-person registration for dance classes will be available starting April 12th.

Summer/Fall Music:  Music students can CALL to register or transfer their current time for Summer or Fall lessons starting April 5th at 2 pm.  Check out our NEW group summer music classes by viewing our schedule above.  Online enrollment will not be active until April 19th. Current music students have been emailed a form to see if they want to continue for Summer/Fall.  Non-members can register for Summer on April 5th or on May 3rd for our Fall schedule.

Fall Schedule – Registration opens ONLINE ONLY Monday, May 3rd.  In-person/over-the-phone registrations begin May 10th.  Our current music students can register starting April 5th for Summer and Fall lessons.

2021-2022 Competitive Dance Team Auditions: Our auditions will be held on Saturday, May 15th & Sunday, May 16th at our Oak Creek location.  Click HERE for basic details.  More information will be available on April 10th.  If your child is interested in joining our Competitive Teams, please email our Team Coordinator at [email protected] to receive the latest updates.

Questions about Teams or Auditions Next Year? We understand that our Competitive Team information can be overwhelming for 1st-time families.  If you have questions, please email Miss Alyssa, our Competitive Team Coordinator, at [email protected].  From there, we can address your questions or set up a phone call.  Miss Alyssa can answer questions on the administrative aspect of being on a Team(s) (hours, fees, time, and financial commitments). Questions regarding placement and dancer’s ability would be addressed by their current teachers and/or Miss Sarah, our Dance Director.  

Dance Audition Prep Classes:  Is your dancer looking to prepare for middle/high school Pom tryouts or be a part of APA Competitive Teams?  Register for our workshop below.  Dancers will be working on jumps/turns, choreography combos, and technique training.

Referral Program:  Share us with a friend!  When a new family registers and mentions your name, you EACH will receive a $50 tuition voucher. The voucher will be mailed out after 2 months of paid enrollment and there is no limit to the number of families you can refer!

Member Accounts: There is a Member Log-in area on our website where you can see what your account has been charged, enroll in classes, etc… Every family has their own account.  Your username is the email address you gave us. If you need to update your email address, please contact us.

Spring Music Recital – In-Person & Virtual Options: Our Music Recital is scheduled for Saturday, June 12th (VIRTUAL option), and Sunday, June 13th (IN-PERSON option).  We will work on the final details closer to Spring since there are still ongoing changes due to COVID-19. Our in-person recital will have multiple acts beginning at 1 PM.  Families will be able to choose what type of recital they want their students to perform in based upon their comfort level.  APA will always follow COVID-19 guidelines.  Our students will begin to pick out their music later on in the semester. Please feel free to talk to your child’s teacher for a brief summary of what they are working on!  


Spring Dance Showcase Rehearsal Location:  Due to Covid-19, we will be having our dress rehearsals and picture day at our APA Oak Creek location from Tuesday, June 15th-Thursday, June 17th.  With the number of students and families that we would have coming and going at different times, it would be too hard to sanitize the seats in between.  In addition, with the large space, it would be difficult for our staff to monitor students to maintain social distancing while students wait for their pictures.  

Using our Oak Creek location will provide a smaller contained area for our staff to monitor our students.  We would continue to have a closed lobby and have students enter through our front door and have parents waiting by the back door for students to exit.  Students will still have time to run through their routines a few times and then immediately head to another studio room for their pictures to be professionally taken by Empire Photography.

Spring Dance Showcase @ South Milwaukee PAC:  Our Shows are scheduled for Friday, June 18th, and Saturday, June 19th.

For those of you who had their students perform in our Winter Mini Shows, our Spring Shows will have the same flow on how this will work to put on a safe performance for our students and spectators.  The only difference will be that our classes will only perform their routine on stage 1 time since we have a lot of combo classes that have more than 1 style to perform.  NEW families – please watch our video to see how this day will work.  We will follow city guidelines for capacity and masks.

Showcase Costumes: We use the same costume(s) for both our Winter Show and Spring Show.  NEW students – we will hand out costumes as they come in.  Please have your student try on their costume immediately to make sure it fits.  We can check to see if an exchange costume size can come in if you feel your student needs to go up or down a whole size.  Please remember these are not custom-fit costumes, alterations would be at your own expense.  Some costumes will not ship until mid-May.  

***IF you did not purchase a costume yet and would like to, please see our front desk immediately to purchase so we can check to make sure the costume would be available in time.  There is a $10 shipping charge since our group orders have ended.

Ticket sales will occur in mid-May.  We will also have a volunteer parent sign-up available for anyone who wants to help chaperone students backstage.
