December is a very exciting and busy time for our preschool class!
Logo Wear for Sale: We have some great new pieces in our logo wear store. You can click the link below and place your order online. Our store will close on December 10th and will not reopen until January 1st. All orders will take 3-4 weeks after the store closing date and will be shipped for free to APA. Click here for the link.
Referral Program: Share us with a friend. When a new family registers and mentions your name, you will EACH receive a $50 tuition credit. (Credit given after 2 months enrolled and there is no limit to the number of families referred!)
Give the gift of dance: We’re excited to bring you a new way to give the gift of dance lessons to someone you know! Beginning December 1st we will have FREE gift cards handed out inside of the classroom or for you to grab at the front desk and GIFT to someone who is not currently attending APA. This gift card gives them a full month of dance classes (group classes with openings only, up to $59 value) at no cost to them. All you need to do is write your name and theirs on the back of the gift card and give it to them. They can call us, stop by either location or go online to register for the dance class of their choice. *Please make sure to have them mention they have a gift card promotion* If they choose to register after the free month and are enrolled for 2 months you both will be eligible for the APA referral program credit! They must be enrolled by January 15th, 2018 and this offer is for new students only.

APA Community Christmas Party: Join APA on Sunday, December 3rd for some Holiday fun! We’re proud to bring this fun FREE event back for it’s 4th year! This is open to the community, so please invite friends and family. Santa will be here for pictures with the kids; we’ll have crafts; cookies & juice and much more!! Elsa will be making an appearance too! Click on the following links to register today!
Toys for Tots: If you can’t make it to our Community Christmas Party and would still like to donate a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots we will have donation boxes in the lobby of both locations. Donations will be accepted immediately and our donation drive will end on Sunday, December 3rd.
Winter Break: APA will be closed starting Saturday December 23rd all classes will resume on Wednesday, January 3rd.
Snow Days: APA will decide if we will remain open during a snow/ice storm. We will use the school districts verdict as a guideline. We will email everyone by 8am if we decide to close preschool. We will post on Fox 6, as well as our facebook page. Because this is completely out of our control, we cannot provide make up lessons for each class, however, we will allow you to attend any group class the following week as a make-up. Please stop by the front desk to schedule.
Winter Performance: Tuesday, December 19th & Wednesday, December 20th – This will be a short program where the students sing a couple of songs and work on a craft w/ mom or dad. We ask that every student brings some sort of cookies, snacks or paper products to pass. The teachers will post a sign-up sheet of needed items near classroom door on bulletin board. All family and friends are welcome to attend! If your student attends both days, they will be repeating the same program 2 times. *Guest Arrival Time: 10:30am on their scheduled day of school
Scholastic Book Orders Due December 12th: Order by December 12th and it will arrive before break. If you want to purchase any books through our preschool you must order these online. Please go to https://clubs.scholastic.com/home to place your order today.
Reminder: Please update students’ clothes in their backpacks w/ winter clothes if you have not done so already. Ex. Instead of shorts switch to pants.
Winter Boots: As the weather changes so will the student’s footwear! If your child wears winter boots to school please bring a pair of shoes they can wear in class. Slippers and winter boots are not to be worn in the classroom.
Pajama Donation: Thank you to everyone who donated pajamas for the Scholastic Books PJ Drive. We collected 14 sets of pajamas. Scholastic books will be donating a book with every pair.
Picture Viewing Day: Pictures will be available for viewing and purchase on Monday December 11th at 9am. There is no obligation to purchase. If you are unable to come at that time, please contact the front desk.
Field Trips:
We are still waiting on dates for our field trips and our in house presentations.

Oak Creek Public Library ~ March 14th , 9AM: Mini tour of the library and Story time with Miss Michelle and Miss Lisa. Please note, our Spring Programs will be the following week.
Falk Park Nature Center ~ March TBD 9:30a-10:30a Cost: $3 p/p child or adults
Chasing Tales ~ May 9th, 9am-11am Cost: $7 per child, parents are free. Our session will be “Free Play”
