Galentine’s Day Craft

The possibilities are LIMITLESS when it comes to crafting with kiddos! Create a Valentine Mobile with pipe cleaners and colorful ribbons, make homemade Valentine cards with construction paper and heart stamps made from sponges, or make friendship bracelets for each of your best friends! Find instructions for each of these activities in the link below!

All you will need are 2 packages of pipe cleaners in Valentine colors and 1 spool of ribbon.

Use the pipe cleaners to form a ring, which will be the body of your mobile. Next, make the heart shape with pipe cleaners and attach a loop of ribbon to the top. This ribbon will connect the heart to the circle. Last, add the streamers of ribbon to the bottom in a variety of colors!

Handmade Valentine Cards

Supplies needed are just Valentine-colored construction paper, kitchen sponge, heart-shaped cookie cutter, markers, and paints.

Use the heart-shaped cookie cutter and place it over the kitchen sponge, pressing through to create a heart sponge stamp. Fold construction paper vertically or horizontally, use markers to design and heart sponge stamp to add a handmade touch!

Friendship Bracelets

For this classic craft, all you’ll need is red, pink, and white yarn, best friend charms that can be found at your local craft store, scissors, and a jewelry clasp.

Take all three colors of yarn and cut widthwise of the Galentines wrist size. Braid together all three colors and tie off at both ends. Add charms and add clasps on each end.
