APA Theatre department is delighted to announce the Spring Mini-Musical Sessions! Each session will take place January-May, and will conclude with a performance! These classes are in collaboration with recreation departments in both Oak Creek and Franklin!
At our Oak Creek studio, we will be producing “Robin Hood and the Merry Band” in partnership with the Oak Creek Community Education & Recreation department. At our Franklin studio, we will be producing “Alice in Wonderland” in partnership with the Franklin Education and Recreation department.

Musical: “Robin Hood and The Merry Band Musical Class”
Description: ROBIN HOOD AND THE MERRY BAND, a short musical theater production.
How did the fine Lady Marian come to join Robin Hood? Could she learn to shoot arrows as well as Robin? Will Little John, Friar Tuck, Scarlett, and Alan-a Dale welcome her into their Merry Band?
In this class, students will work as a team to learn fundamental skills needed for being in a show (both on and offstage), make new friends, and of course… SAVE THE DAY! This session will conclude with a small performance for family and friends!
Day, Time Period: Fridays, 5:45-7:45 pm
Student Grade: 2nd-10th
Cost: $299
Dates: January 6th-May 19th, with a dress rehearsal on May 19th from 5:45-7:45 pm, and a performance on May 20th from 4-5 pm.
Musical: “Alice in Wonderland Musical Class”
Description: ALICE IN WONDERLAND, a short musical theater production.
Alice falls down that rabbit hole–and turns into three people! (Small, Medium, and Tall). Just as you’d expect, she meets characters like the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts and ends up standing trial to establish her innocence of some ridiculous charges.
In this class, students will work as a team to learn the fundamental skills needed for being in a show (both on and offstage), make new friends, and will explore Wonderland and the larger-than-life characters who live there. This session will conclude with a small performance for family and friends.
Day, Time Period: Saturdays, 11:30-1:30 pm
Student Grade: 2nd-10th

Dates: Jan 7-May 20th, with a dress rehearsal on May 22nd from 4:30-7:00 pm, and a performance on May 23rd from 6:00-6:45 pm at Southwood Glen Elementary School, Franklin
