As we are fast approaching the end of our school year, our newsletters are especially important. Here are a few things to be aware of:
All of our students will receive a free t-shirt in June. This year’s shirt is mint green. If you (parents) would like to order one, please pay at our front desk by Monday, April 9th. They are $20 plus tax, add $2 for 2XL or 3XL. T-shirts are unisex so they run bigger. Note: ALL Students will receive a FREE one. Parent t-shirts will be available for pick up the last week of dance classes in June at your location.
At the end of this month we will be closed for Spring Break. Our Spring Break closing dates are March 30th through April 5th. Classes will resume on Friday, April 6th. Please continue reading for more important information!
More Important Info For You To Know
Student of the Makenzie Paprocki – Makenzie improves daily because she works really hard in class and applies critiques quickly. Makenzie asks questions during class to help her better understand what she needs to be doing. She does a great job in the studio and consistently practices at home! We enjoy having her in class because of her great laugh and personality. She is also very respectful. Makenzie was nominated by all her coaches.
Details from Parent Meeting – If you were unable to join us for the parent meeting last month please click here for a video/notes from the meeting. All families are responsible for getting the information from the meeting. If you are not a member of our Team Facebook page and need to view, please contact Trisha.
Legacy Competition Date and Call Times– Reminder our next competition is the Legacy Dance Championship in West Bend, March 16th -18th. Please make sure to block this entire weekend for the competition. As soon as APA receives the final schedule and we create our call times we will send it to you right away. In the Dance Industry, it is standard to not receive this until the week of competition.
Summer Classes & Intensives: Pre-Team students will be the only students required to take our 6 week summer program from July 10th-August 19th. These classes and the recreational schedule will be available online at the beginning of April. We will let you know about that intensive schedule when it’s finalized – you will not know what intensives you are require to take until after auditions, but the structure will be very similar to last summer.
Fall Schedule – Our Fall Schedule will be available in May 1st with more info in your April Newsletter!
Save the Dates – Team Auditions: May 5th and 6th. Auditions will be pre-registration only. Details on pre-registration will be in the April newsletter. Spring Team Banquet. Tuesday, May 29th, 5pm – 8pm. Oak Creek Community Center.
License Plate Winner – Congratulations to license plate 436-ZCE. One of our staff members spotted your Academy window sticker while driving! Please contact the front desk so to receive a $50 tuition credit. To participate, grab a FREE window sticker at the desk.
Logo Wear for Sale – You can place orders from our online store from the 1st-10th of each month. We do not have these items available at the studio. All orders will take 3-4 weeks after the store closing date and will be shipped for free to APA. We will notify you when your items are available for pick-up. Click here to order!
Community Easter Egg Hunt – Join us for our Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24th at our Franklin location! We will offer a fun egg hunt for students walking up to 8 years old. We will have the Easter Bunny here to visit with students and take pictures! We will also be holding a Bake Sale and have face painting for the kids! This event is only $3 per child and open to the community so invite your friends and family. It will be held indoors so no need to worry about the weather!
