Take a Trip Tuesday!

Summer is the perfect time to get out and explore your local area. Take advantage of the warm weather and long days by planning a trip for every Tuesday. Visit a new park or playground, go for a hike, or spend the day camping. If you’re feeling adventurous, take a road trip to a nearby town or city. There are lots of great summer activities to choose from, so you’ll never be bored. And best of all, you’ll create lasting memories with your family and friends. So get out there and start exploring!

Wet and Wild Wednesday!

Summertime is the perfect season to get outdoors and enjoy the warm weather. One of the best ways to beat the heat is to take a dip in a pool or splash around in a sprinkler. For those who don’t have access to a pool, there are still plenty of fun ways to stay cool. Water balloon fights, Slip ‘N Slides, and water blasters can provide hours of fun. Spending the day at the beach is another great way to enjoy the summer sun. Soak up some rays, build sandcastles, and paddle in the gentle waves. No matter how you choose to spend your summer days, Wet and Wild Wednesday is the perfect opportunity to cool off and have some fun!

Thinking Thursday!

Summertime is a great opportunity for kids to relax and have some fun, but that doesn’t mean that the learning has to stop completely. Head to your local library for a story hour, spend time outdoors counting items in nature and practicing numbers, and include some educational tv shows or tablet games to keep their minds fresh all summer. Summer activities are a great way to keep kids thinking and engaged, so don’t forget to add some learning into the mix! By incorporating a mix of activities, you can help your kids avoid the Summer Slide and be ready to hit the ground running when school starts again in the fall.

Foodie Friday!

Summertime is the perfect opportunity for kids to get involved in the kitchen! With longer days and warmer weather, there’s plenty of time to explore new recipes and have some fun in the process. On Foodie Friday, let your kiddos roll up their sleeves and get ready to create some delicious dishes. They can make homemade popsicles, build their own pizzas, and fresh fruit kabobs, or assemble classic s’mores. Not only will they love creating their own culinary creations, but they’ll also learn valuable skills like measuring, following directions, and working as a team. So don’t be afraid to let your little ones loose in the kitchen this Summer – it’s sure to be a blast!

Super Saturday!

Summertime is often associated with lazy days spent lounging by the pool and long nights spent roasting marshmallows around the campfire. However, for families with young children, summer can also be a time of restless energy and frustrated attempts to find activities that will keep everyone happy. That’s why Super Saturday was created! This special day is dedicated to spending quality time together as a family and making Summer memories that will last a lifetime. So whether you spend the day exploring your local community, cooling off at the waterpark, or getting up close and personal with the animals at the zoo, make sure to take some time to enjoy Super Saturday with the people who matter most.

The best way to make sure your kids have a great summer is to get them involved in activities that will keep them entertained and educated.
