As we are preparing for our end-of-the-year performances, we know a lot of questions may pop up. If anyone is uncertain about any information, please feel free to call us at our number listed below.  We would rather have you call and find the right answer than miss something important. Our staff is here to assist you! If you will not be joining us for Summer classes, we hope you have a great Summer and we hope to see you in Fall for the start of our 17th year! Thank you for being a part of APA this past season and making it a great year! The studio will have limited office hours during the Summer. More Important Info for You To Know:   

Father and Daughter Dance Challenge! Due to Covid-19, we will not be able to have our traditional Father/Daughter Dance, but that’s not going to stop us from creating a FUN experience for our APA Dads and Daughters! This year APA will be hosting a dance challenge on social media, that all families can enter, for a chance to WIN a $25 gift card to Mimosa restaurant and a Diesel Plus service haircut at Diesel Barbershop! The perfect Father’s Day Gift!

Reminder – Last Day of Classes:  Monday, June 14th
Everyone’s last payment was charged on May 15th and your account on file will not be charged again unless you register for a Summer or Fall class. You do not need to fill out a drop form when it is the end of a session. 

*Music students may have make-up dates from when their teacher was absent beyond 6/14, please ask your teacher for details.

Summer Classes Monday, July 5th – Saturday, August 14th: Schedules are available now click HERE!   Our summer session is 6 weeks long and we will offer NEW group music classes/workshops, dance classes, and private music lessons.

Fall Schedule – Click HERE to view our schedule by age group!  When registering you will be charged your $30 yearly membership fee p/p ($40 max. per family) and September’s tuition.  We already have full classes. 

COMING SOON – APA Open House/Movie Night!  APA is partnering with Gift of Wings to host a movie night after our Open House on Tuesday, August 17th at our Franklin location. We will offer sample dance/music classes for students to try out and offer our Shoe Extravaganza Sale to get discounts on shoes for our September classes. Our APA Open House will be held from 6 pm-8 pm followed by an outdoor movie starting at dusk. Head to our Facebook page today to vote for what movie you want to see!

NEW Yard Sign Contest:
We’re shaking up our yard sign contest
! Grab a yard sign from the lobby of either location and place it in your yard, THEN take a photo and share it to your Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #APAproud! We will pick a random winner each month who will receive a $50 tuition credit. Winners are announced on our social platforms, and we’ll contact you on your post! 

Referral Program: Share us with a friend! When a new family registers and mentions your name, you EACH will receive a $50 tuition voucher. The voucher will be mailed out after 2 months of paid enrollment and there is no limit to the number of families you can refer!

License Plate Winner: Congrats to license plate 383-YKM. One of our staff members spotted your APA window sticker while driving! Please contact the front desk so we know who you are and you will receive a $50 tuition credit. To participate, grab a FREE APA window sticker at the desk!

Member Accounts: There is a Member Login area on our website www.academywi.com where you can see what your account has been charged, enroll in classes, etc. Every family has its own account. Your username is the email address you gave us. If you need to update your email address, please contact us.

Facebook & Instagram: Interact with APA on social media! We have fun contests, photos from classes, and more on both our Facebook and Instagram pages. Click HERE to join us on Facebook and HERE to follow us on Instagram!

MUSIC DEPARTMENT: 

Spring Music Recital – In-Person & Virtual Options: Our performance orders were emailed out on May 24th.  Click HERE for more details!  (performance orders will NOT be posted on our website for privacy reasons).

DANCE DEPARTMENT: 

Fall Dance Assistant Applications –  If your child is going to be 10 years old by September 1st and is interested in assisting dance classes next school year, please click below to complete an assistant application.  All applications are due no later than June 30th.  For every 1 hour of assisting, the assistant would receive a $7 credit in their APA account.

Please keep in mind the more flexibility and availability you have, the easier it is to schedule. Please make sure to review each application as there have been changes.  Any assistant who commits to assisting a minimum of 1 class at the Franklin location will get priority scheduling!

Dance Showcase Information 

Volunteers:  We are looking for parent volunteers to help us backstage. Unlike years past, you would be a volunteer back-stage and will be assisting ALL classes back there, not just your students’ class.  Volunteers do not have to purchase a ticket and can watch your child’s performance from the side stage.  Siblings who are not performing are not allowed to be back-stage. Please sign up by clicking HERE. For the safety of our students, anyone backstage will need to check in as a volunteer and receive one of our volunteer lanyards. Parents are not allowed backstage unless they are an approved volunteers.  We will send a volunteer email the week of the Showcase with final instructions.  ***We are not asking for volunteers for our Team Showcase.

Remaining Tickets for Sale:  If anyone is looking to purchase extra tickets for the family to attend our Showcases, we still have tickets available.  Because this is general seating, even if you purchased tickets for the first round, your family will still be able to sit together if you purchase more at this later date. Practice Music/Videos:  Listed below is our index that will have links for your student’s songs. Younger classes will also have practice videos listed as well. This spreadsheet will also list Spring Showcase dates/times and rehearsal times at APA.
