Monthly Newsletter – June 2018

As we are preparing for our end of the year performances, we know a lot of questions may pop up.  If anyone is uncertain about any information, please feel free to call us at our number listed below.  We would rather have you call and find the right answer, than miss something important.  Our staff is here to assist you!  If you will not be joining us for summer classes, we hope you have a great summer and we hope to see you in fall for the start of our 14th year!  Thanks for being a part of APA this past season and making it a great year! The studio will have limited office hours during the summer.  Please call us at (414) 768-0101, if you have any questions.  We will be checking our voicemail even if we do not have specific office hours that day!  Good luck to those that still have performances coming up and great job to those who performed in our music recitals.

License Plate Winner:  Congrats to license plate 278-ZZN.   One of our staff members spotted your Academy window sticker while driving!  Please contact the front desk so we know who you are and you will receive a free $50 tuition credit.  To participate, grab a FREE window sticker at the desk!

APA Students of the Month
DANCER:  Leana Jolla – Nominated by Miss Danielle:  She is a great listener and is a pleasure to have in class.  you can tell that she practices outside of class.  She is always prepared and retains lessons from previous classes when “quizzed” in class.  Leana is a joy to have in class.
MUSICIAN:  Sophia Stauber – Nominated by Mr Scott: I have only worked with Sophia for a month but she has obviously put in a lot of work on her 2 difficult recital pieces. She responded quickly and easily to the very few tweaks that we needed to make, and with the same enthusiasm that is evident in her playing. Definitely a great example and mentor for our younger APA aspiring musicians.
TEAM DANCER:  Abby Dachel – Nominated by all her coaches: Abby has continuously demonstrated determination, focus, and maturity. As a dancer, she has pushed herself to improve so much over the last couple years and is always attentive in class. She is one of the students we always see staying a few more minutes to clean up, and always takes extra care in every project or task. She’s kind, responsible, and caring. All of the coaches at APA are proud to honor Abby as our June Student of the Month!

Want better chances for siblings to be in the same showcase?  Believe it or not we start working on our showcase line-ups in June for the upcoming year.  We pull an enrollment report of all our students that register by June 15th and start assigning show times.  If your siblings are registered by this date, you have a better chance of getting both siblings in the same show case.  ***Please note that if students transfer classes after this date, we will NOT rearrange show times and this still is NOT a guarantee because it also depends on how many other students are in the same situation.

Reminder – Last Day of Dance Classes: Monday, June 11th:  Everyone’s last payment was charged on May 15th and your account on file will not be charged again unless you register for a summer or fall class.  You do not need to fill out a drop form when it is the end of a session.
