We hope you had a wonderful holiday break! After seeing our December performances, we are looking forward to our spring shows and seeing our students’ progress! We are so proud of our students for all they have learned in just a few months. Everyone did a fantastic job!

Dance students will also receive information on our Spring Showcase and costume ordering details, or look under our Dance information below. Our registration cut-off date for group dance, music and theater classes for grades 2nd and older is February 15th.

Minion Hip Hop Party

The Minion Hip Hop Party for ages 3-9 includes a craft, games, and dancing! Wear your favorite minion costume or something you can move in and learn some of today’s most popular hip hop moves! Dancers will star in an end-of-camp performance that the parents can watch. Parents come into class the last 5 minutes of class for the performance.

Our 6-week mini sessions are a perfect opportunity for our students to try another style of the arts. We offer the following classes for our 6-week sessions:

- Age 3-10 Wicked-themed intro-to-dance Classes!

At APA students are rewarded for taking classes in all 3 of our performing arts categories; dance, music, and theater! The goal of this program is to encourage students to try new things and grow toward a well-rounded performing arts education.

Snow Days:
APA will decide if we will remain open during a snow/ice storm. An email will be sent to all families by 3 pm if we decide to close Monday-Friday or by 8 am on Saturdays.

Give the Gift of Performing Arts:
We’re excited to bring you a new way to give the gift of performing arts to someone you know! APA will have FREE gift cards handed out inside of the classroom, or for you to grab at the front desk, and GIFT to someone who is not currently attending APA!
This gift card gives them a full month of group classes (classes must have openings only, up to $79 value) at no cost to them. All you need to do is write your name and theirs on the back of the gift card and give it to them. They can call us, stop by either location or go online to register for the group class of their choice.
*Please make sure to have them mention they have a gift card promotion.* If they choose to register after their free month, and are enrolled for 2 months, you both will be eligible for the APA referral program credit! They must be enrolled by January 15th, 2025. This offer is for NEW students only.
Referral Credit + January DOUBLE Referral Month!
Earn up to $100!!! Any family that you refer to APA and joins will earn you BOTH a $50 credit. During the month of January, it’s DOUBLE Referral Month where YOU will receive a $100 credit (your referring family will receive $50). The credit will be applied after completion of 2 months paid registration from the new family.
Automatic Enrollment for Summer/Fall Music Lessons:
We no longer require parents to fill out a registration form to continue private music lessons each summer and school year session. You do not need to worry about filling out a registration form by each summer and fall deadline to continue to keep your current spot with your current teacher.
If you do not discontinue lessons, you will continue in your same lesson time slot with your same teacher for summer and/or fall. More details on how to discontinue lessons for either summer and or/fall, will be provided in March.
Summer 2025 Private Music Lesson Dates:
Our MUSIC private lesson summer session dates will be Monday, June 16 – Friday, August 15th (we will be CLOSED the week of July 4th).

Tiny Tunes Ages 3-5 – Winter Wonderland: Sing songs about snowflakes, snowmen, and hot cocoa, while participating in winter-themed activities.
Music Junior Ages 6-9 – Vocal Zoo: Young singers will meet each week to gain confidence in their voices and musical abilities in a group setting. Your singer can look forward to fun warmups and games, as well as learning music concepts and songs from a variety of musical genres. Vocal Zoo Theme: Practice pitch, dynamics, and range by mimicking animal sounds and singing animal-themed songs.

When the seasons change, schedules start to change too. That’s why there’s no better time than now to look into daytime options for your music student! Perfect for preschoolers and homeschooled students!

Spring Music Concert - SAVE THE DATES!:
Please mark your calendars for our 2-day Spring Music Concert on Saturday, June 7th AND Sunday, June 8th at the Saber Center for the Performing Arts in Franklin High School. Exact performance times will be decided closer to the recital date. Our students will begin to pick out their music later on in the semester.

Purchasing Music Books:
When it is time to purchase music books for your private lesson, APA offers 2 easy options:
1.) We order your books for you. Your teacher will put in your book order through our music department. You will be charged a $3 service fee for this option.
2.) You can purchase books through another site or store of your choosing.

Referral Program:
Share us with a friend! When a new family registers and mentions your name, you will EACH receive a $50 tuition credit.
