Heard of the Accelerated Performing Artists program!?

At APA students are rewarded for taking classes in all 3 of our performance arts categories; dance, music, and theater! The goal of this program is to encourage students to try new things and grow toward a well-rounded performing arts education. You can learn more about it and see the perks of the program HERE!

If you’re looking to take the next step for your student to participate in this program, Spring is a great time to add on any additional classes. If you’re interested in adding a class, or have questions about your eligibility, let us know, and we can help you get signed up!

**For students already in the program this last school year: If you are graduating in the Spring, don’t forget to take advantage of the Letter of Recommendation benefit of the program. Reach out if you have any questions about this!

Automatic Enrollment for Summer/Fall Music Lessons:

As of last school year, we no longer require parents to fill out a registration form to continue private music lessons each summer and school year session. You do not need to worry about filling out a registration form by each summer and fall deadline to continue to keep your current spot with your current teacher. If you do not discontinue lessons, you will continue in your same lesson time slot with your same teacher for summer and/or fall.  More details on how to discontinue lessons for either summer and or/fall, will be provided in March.

Drama and Musical Theatre Classes:

Our theatre department is proud to announce our spring project: MTI’s Broadway Jr. Revue- Pure Imagination. This season, students will learn interesting facts about the shows in the revue, and the roles used to create a successful show. Each Musical Theatre class will prepare and perform musical numbers that include choreography, solo work, and dialogue, while the Drama Club classes will prepare short skits or short introductions/monologues to perform in between. All students who are enrolled will be featured. The performance and dress rehearsal date will be June 8th and will take place at the Saber Center for the Performing Arts in Franklin High School.  Exact performance times will be decided closer to the recital date. We hope you join us to create this exciting show!

Summer Musical:

Calling all performers and theater enthusiasts! Join us for auditions for “Annie Jr.,” a heartwarming musical extravaganza! We are seeking talented performers ages 6-18 to bring this beloved story to life. Come showcase your talent and be part of an unforgettable production filled with joy, hope, and timeless music. While all who enroll are guaranteed a spot in our production, we will be holding auditions before the first rehearsals to cast all roles. Audition times and dates will be announced closer to the end of the spring session. Don’t miss this opportunity to shine on stage in “Annie Jr.” – an adventure that promises to captivate hearts and leave audiences spellbound! Enrollment will open on April 1st.
