Logo Wear for Sale: You can place orders from our online store from the 1st-10th of each month. We do not have these items available at the studio. All orders will take 3-4 weeks after the store closing date and will be shipped for free to APA. We will notify you when your items are available for pick-up. Click here to order!
NEW Adult 5-Week Tap Class: Miss Danielle will have a class on Saturdays at our Oak Creek location from 815am-9am starting 2/24-3/24. Cost for entire session: $62.50 non-member or $49 if you are currently an APA member. EARLY BIRD OPTION: register by Monday, February 5th and the cost is $40 for anyone who joins. We need at least 5 adults to have this class go over. Must register by 2/17. Tap shoes must be purchased and any work-out attire is acceptable. You do not have to purchase shoes from APA however for your convenience we sell them for $26.50 plus tax. Register online or call us at 414-768-0101.
Community Easter Egg Hunt: Join us for our Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24th. This year’s event will be held exclusively at our Franklin location (10001 St Martins Rd). We will offer a fun egg hunt for ages walking to 8. We’ll also have the Easter Bunny here to visit with and take pictures! Admission to this event is just $3 per child and is open to the community so invite your friends and family. It is held 100% indoors, so no need to worry about the weather! “Spread the Love” APA Family and Staff Appreciation Week: We are so grateful to have you and your family as a part of the APA family. We’ve decided to celebrate our great parents/guardians, staff and students during the month of February! APA Students of the Month:
Music – Ava Swanson: Ava is extremely fun to work with and Miss Tess had the great joy of witnessing her come out of her shell and making leaps and bounds in regards to her voice. She is very willing to go with the flow and does whatever strange exercise I ask of her. Ava also takes initiative outside of her lessons and participates in school music such as choir and show choir. She even did an extra performance for APA’s Trunk or Treat event at Franklin! We love having Ava as a student and I’m looking forward to continuing working with her and developing her skills as a singer and performer. Ava was nominated by Miss. Tess.
Recreational Dance – Addison Unrath: Addison is currently enrolled in lyrical on Thursday nights at Franklin. She has taken tap, ballet, jazz and lyrical. She works hard and loves to dance. She is constantly striving to be better and learn more. Abigail is kind to all other students and loves to perform. Addison was nominated by Miss. Jessica.
Competitive Dance – Carra Kleczka: Carra always comes to class with a positive and upbeat attitude. She has been such an inspiring dancer to watch not only this year but over the years. She helps others in class, makes sure that everyone is included, and helps put a smile on her classmates face. Carra works hard to reach her goals in class and is a inspiration to others. Not only does Carra work hard to achieve her goals but she sparkles and shines when performing on stage. Way to go Carra, we are SO proud of the dancer you have become! Carra was nominated by all of her dance coaches.
Music Spring Recital: Our Music Recital will be held on Sunday, May 20th at the Oak Creek Salvation Army starting at 1pm. Our students will begin to pick out their music later in the semester. Also, please feel free to talk to your teacher before or after class for a brief summary of what they are working on.

Showcase Costumes: We use the same costumes from our winter show for our spring show. If you are transferring classes and the new class does not have the same costume, you would have to order a new costume.
NEW STUDENTS: If you would like to participate in our dance showcase, please contact the desk immediately for details. A $10 shipping fee will apply if you purchase the costume after the February 15th deadline.
Video of Recital Dance: If you would like to record your child’s dance(s) for the Spring Showcase to practice at home please do this the week of Parent Observation Week IN CLASS, May 7th- May 12th. APA will not be recording the classes for Showcase.

Showcase Routines: Now that we are getting closer to our June 15th and 16th Showcase, held at the South Milwaukee High School PAC, each class will be working on their new dance starting in February. They will still be working on technique, across the floor combinations, jumps and turns. If your child is not participating in our show, they will still learn the dance, and will strategically be placed in formations so we do not have any gaps during the performance.
